Why Sponsor an Orphan in Uganda?
Sponsorship connects you with an individual child in Uganda who needs your help. Your sponsorship provides an enrichment opportunity for the child and huge benefits to him/her in education, healthcare and support. To sponsor a child is to rescue an orphan or abandoned child in Uganda; sponsorship isn’t a handout, but an effective way to help in a very real and direct way to change the future for a child.
What Do You Receive as a Sponsor?
You receive the opportunity to change a child’s life and to build a relationship with a child in need. You will also receive background information and a photo of the child you are sponsoring. You will get a progress report and a financial accounting of funds on a regular basis and, if you wish, e-mails of program communications. You may also receive an occasional letter from your child and a report on the Holiday Enrichment Program. Your child will also receive a holiday gift package once a year!
