About the Program
Sometimes a family just needs help right now. This program exists for those moments - when a child doesn't have a warm coat, enough food, or basic clothing, and waiting isn't an option.
GOAF provides emergency grants to cover immediate needs for vulnerable children and families across the United States. Every winter, we also collect and distribute coats to children and teens in the Detroit area, working with local schools, churches, and shelters to make sure they reach the kids who need them most.
When longer-term help is on the way through social services, this program steps in to cover the gap - usually within 24 hours.
Every dollar donated goes directly to a child in need. Any amount is welcome and appreciated.
